Programme Areas
CEPR's research is carried out under the auspices of the seven Programme
Areas listed below. Each Programme Area consists of a number of research projects.

CEPR has founded an Economic History Initiative, which spans a number of
Programme Areas.
CEPR researchers have produced
research under the auspices of four other programme areas that are no longer active:
- Institutions and Economic Policy (1 September 2006)
- Transition Economics (succeeded by Institutions and Economic Performance,
Jan 1, 2004)
- Applied Macroeconomics (succeeded by Financial Economics and industrial Organization,
February 1994)
- Human Resources (succeeded by Labour Economics and Public Policy, November 1998)
