CEPR Publications: An Overview
Our research results appear first in
the CEPR Discussion Paper series. Discussion Papers are circulated widely to other specialists in the research and policy community so that the results of the research receive prompt and thorough professional scrutiny. The Centre produces about
500 Discussion Papers each year. Key research results are also reported in the quarterly CEPR Bulletin, which circulates to members of the academic and policy communities.
In
1999 CEPR also launched a Policy
Paper series to provide a forum for the analysis of important policy
issues. The series aims to identify key policy issues; apply the best and
most up-to-date research to help understand these issues; and to explore the
implications of this research for the design and conduct of policy. The
Policy Paper series replaces the Occasional
Papers previously published by the Centre.
Once the research nears completion, the Centre also disseminates the key results of the research to a wide audience in the private sector and the policy community. Highlights of the Centre’s research are disseminated through
public discussion meetings and the Centre’s bi-monthly newsletter, European Economic Perspectives, which is distributed to individuals in the private sector and the policy community.
CEPR
produces a wide selection of Reports and Books
under its own imprint. The collection includes four series' of topical, policy
relevant reports – Monitoring European
Integration, Monitoring European
Deregulation (in collaboration with SNS), Monitoring
the European Central Bank and Geneva Reports on the
World Economy (jointly with ICMB). CEPR also has a selection of Conference
Volumes published by prestigious academic presses. These volumes
contain revised versions of papers presented at CEPR conferences and aim to
bring together a coherent body of research on a particular topic. They cannot be
ordered directly through the Centre but full details can be found here.
