Politics, Economics and Global Governance: The European Dimensions (PEGGED) is a collaborative research project involving 7 institutions across Europe, supported by the the Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (Contract no. SSH7-CT-2008-217559).
The project is organised in four work packages:
- international macroeconomic governance;
- globalization and financial stability;
- the integration of markets for trade in goods and services;
- migration and the mobility of labour;
In addition, for each work package, we will produce policy briefs, papers and reports. They will allow PEGGED researchers to participate in the policy debate, by reflecting on the policy implications that flow from their research.
- Policy Briefs: Many of the key policy implications of the project's research will be released as Policy Briefs. These are short policy essays aimed at the media, as well as economists working in governments, international organisations and the private sector.
- Policy Papers: These are somewhat longer analyses of topical policy issues, typically 20-30 pages in length.
- Policy Reports: These are modelled on CEPR's innovative series of Policy Reports - extensive, in depth analyses of key policy issues.
