Ekholm appointed Deputy Governor of Sveriges Riksbank

Karolina Ekholm

Karolina Ekholm, a Research Affiliate in CEPR's International Trade and Regional Economics Programme, has been appointed Deputy Governor of the Sveriges Riksbank. She will take up her post on 15 March 2009 with a six year term of office.

Karolina is an Associate Professor at Stockholm University and a member of the Swedish Government's Fiscal Policy Council, having previously been a member of the Swedish Economic Council. She has perhaps become most well-known to the Swedish general public as 'globalisation expert' with a number of research reports on the economic effects of globalisation.
